I first heard of the Strathberry brand from watching Victoria Magrath (In The Frow’s) YouTube videos. They are a Scotland based luxury label, recently made famous by Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle.
They’ve been on my radar for a number of years now, although I’ve never seen any of their bags in real life. They have their own stores in Edinburgh and London and are also sold in Selfridges. Being based in Newcastle, it’s not the easiest for me to try on.
However, I’ve watched countless YouTube videos, searched for the #strathberry hashtag on Instagram and basically stalked the brand for a while now. In doing so, I’ve come up with a wishlist of three bags I NEED. If you’re reading this and you own any of the below, please let me know your experience!East/West Mini – Black
I’ve been looking for a small evening bag for the longest time and you can’t go wrong with black in my opinion. I particularly love the colour of the hardware. I’ve looked at some YSL bags and their gold is far too yellow for me. This is the perfect champagne gold. They do the regular size East/West version, but I think the Mini looks so cute and perfect for a date night dinner. As long as it holds my iPhone 7 Plus, I’m happy! The Strathberry Midi Tote – Tan Bridle Leather
Another colour that is lacking in my handbag collection – tan. The leather on this looks absolutely stunning and I love that it comes with a (detachable and adjustable!) strap as well as the top handle. The Midi Tote looks to be the perfect size for a work bag and would go with any outfit. The Strathberry Nano Tote – Burgundy
This is hands down Strathberry’s cutest bag! I absolutely love the shape and size of it. Yes, it’s a nano size so won’t hold much more than the absolute essentials. However, I think the burgundy colour is stunning, especially alongside that beautiful gold hardware. I also think this cardholder would match the bag perfectly!
I could pick out so many more but these are my top three at the moment.
Do you own anything from Strathberry? Would you recommend their products? Can you see them standing the test of time? Please let me know your thoughts!
