It’s been a while since I’ve written a blog post so I thought it was time for a catch up! I’ve just had my 32nd birthday so I wanted to share what I got up to. One of my absolute favourite things to do is go away for the night, have a nice meal and a relaxing stay so that’s exactly what we did!
Talking through a new, sustainable fashion discovery – Saint Belle.
I’ve noticed my hair gradually thinning for a little while now, especially around my fringe and parting. It’s not hugely noticeable to other people, but it is to me. I don’t know if its just because I’m getting older (I’m in my 30s now!) or if its a result of years and years of hair dye and straightening. Either way, I’m pledging to take better care of my hair and have been looking for products to help.
We’re coming to the end of 2020 with just a couple of months left to go. I’m sure we can all agree it hasn’t been the best year to say the least! Buying bags has just not been on my list of priorities (well let’s be honest, it should never be a priority, there are far more important things in life!). However, I’m thinking positively and looking ahead to 2021. If I find myself wanting a new bag and I have the funds to buy one, it will probably be one of these
Sustainability is a word that is thrown around a lot lately. It’s in the news, its on TV, a lot of brands are talking about being better when it comes to producing or packaging their products. It’s a subject I feel really passionate about exploring and pushing further in both my personal life and on my blog.
I don’t think you should hold onto something that isn’t being used. If it’s gathering dust on your shelf, it’s time for it to go to a new home, whether that’s selling it or simply giving it away. Whatever you do – do NOT throw it in the bin! This is so bad for the environment. So, that’s why I’m giving away this incredible Kate Spade wallet to one of my followers.
I know everyone is in different situations with work at the moment – I had a brief couple of months in the office when they opened again, but I’m now back to working from home. However, I did get some used out of my bags again for a little while, and this is what I was taking with me.
I treated myself to some new makeup from Hourglass. When putting in my order with my friend Andrew (who works at Hourglass in Liberty) he told me my purchase qualifies for the free Liberty Beauty Gift with Purchase – worth over £398!
I am a huge fan of Kate Spade – the quality of the brand matches that of my much higher priced items. I find the leather to be incredibly durable and robust, and they have some beautiful, timeless styles to choose from.
The great thing about small leather goods is, they are a great way to dip your toe in and get a feel for a brand, before committing to a higher priced item like a handbag. You can pick up an SLG on the preloved market for a fairly affordable price and see how you get on with it.
