I felt like I needed to make some little updates to my wardrobe as I was feeling quite uninspired! Although I’ve called this a Spring/Summer haul – there are no bikinis or sandals or anything too Spring/Summer. There’s jeans and basics but all things I really needed (to stop me just going for the tracksuit bottoms to work from home).
I am generally a very casual dresser. A tshirt and jeans is my staple outfit and most of my clothing is from the high street. However, I like to elevate my looks with high end accessories. I can throw on a blazer, a preloved handbag and a designer belt and it just takes things up a notch!
While my handbags aren’t getting much use at the moment, there is one accessory that is – my Apple Watch. I’ve recently upgraded from the series 3 to the series 5 and I love some of the new features. I’ve also picked up some new watch straps too!
The world is a very strange place at the moment. Our routines no longer exist and the majority of us are working from home. For me, the novelty of sitting in my pyjamas all day quickly wore off, I ended up feeling like a bit of a slob. In order for me to be productive, I needed to put some actual clothes on and make myself look presentable. I think I’ve finally found a happy medium between looking put together and feeling comfortable.
It’s that tricky time of the year when it’s difficult to know what clothes to put on. I live in the North East of England and this week alone we’ve had wind, rain, snow and sun. It feels like every week there’s a new storm to contend with – but it’s March! Spring should be just around the corner…
A Keepall has been on my wishlist for quite a while. For weekends away, I was lugging around a small suitcase which seemed a bit too much for most trips. A Keepall looked perfect for my needs, but I definitely didn’t have the funds to buy one brand new!
The Kate Spade Daniels Drive Abigail is the bag I reach for when I want a black bag, big enough for everyday essentials but not too big. If is so versatile and robust, I couldn’t be without it. Take a look at what fits inside…
In all honesty I do prefer designer handbags to ones from the high-street because, generally speaking, the quality means they are going to last much longer. However, I like to keep a few non-designer handbags, for those times when I don’t want to use something expensive.
For me, there’s nothing better than packing my bags and getting away for the weekend. Whether that’s an overnight stay in a cosy treehouse in the wilderness or a luxurious spa break, it’s one of my favourite ways to spend my time.
I’m so happy with the latest SLG in my collection – the Louis Vuitton Toiletry 15. When I first received it, I thought it might be a little small for my daily essentials. But, I’m actually pleasantly surprised with how much it can fit inside!
